Who we are

canadianartmap.com was conceived, built and designed by Dale Barrett (dalebarrett.ca). The site aims to be a comprehensive way-finding guide that identifies and locates art venues, art activities and art events across Canada; and helps users navigate to, from and between them.

canadianartmap.com is a vehicle for marketing and promoting art venues, activities and events. It’s also an online platform that amplifies a diversity of artists’ voices and art works via descriptive listings of Canadian art venues and activities. A basic listing is FREE of charge. “STANDARD” and “PREMIUM” listings—with additional features, information and images—are offered at fixed rates. Display and pop-up ads are also available at fixed rates. Rates for Listings and Ads—including related benefits—can be found on the “Advertising” page.
