The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery

Art Galleries / Museums (Public)

Description

Located on the second floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park, The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery is a no-fee art gallery that highlights the works of local artists and celebrates the arts. The space is designed to showcase art to the general public in an easy to access and high traffic environment. Each year the Gallery introduces new art exhibitions and highlights local art organizations’ groups of works. From youth showcases to individual exhibits, the gallery highlights a variety of mediums and the diversity of talent. As arts and culture are critical components of healthy, strong and vibrant communities; the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery provides exhibit space to promote local and regional artists as well as develop an appreciation for visual art within the community.
