Description

Materia— in the heart of the Saint-Roch district in Quebec City—is an arts and crafts gallery presenting exhibitions showcasing the diversity material art (craft) practices. Materia endeavours to raise awareness and promote the material arts through conferences, workshops, publications and a variety of other means of cultural discourse. / Au coeur du quartier Saint-Roch dans la ville de Québec, le Centre Materia est un espace de diffusion en métiers d’art proposant des expositions qui démontrent la singularité, la pertinence et la diversité des pratiques. Materia contribue également à faire connaître et promouvoir les arts matériels par des conférences, des ateliers, des publications ainsi que diverses activités de médiation culturelle.
