L’imprimerie, centre d’artistes is a production artist-run centre dedicated to print and photographic practices. The centre supports research and creation in an interdisciplinary and professional development perspective. It welcomes artists and creators from all domains (visual arts, illustration, publishing, performing arts and others) regardless of their ability and provides them with working spaces as well as resources and specialized expertise in digital and analogue printing techniques. Offering residencies, classes, exchanges and assistance tailored to the needs of its community, which spark research and the transfer of knowledge and technical skills, L’imprimerie also favours the use of processes and products that are non-toxic or harmful to the environment, and promotes collaborations with other organizations to improve its activities. / L’imprimerie, centre d’artistes est un espace de production voué aux pratiques de l’imprimé et du photographique. Le centre supporte la recherche et la création dans une perspective d’interdisciplinarité et de développement professionnel. Il accueille les artistes et créateurices de tous milieux (arts visuels, design, illustration, édition, arts vivants ou autre), peu importe leur niveau d’autonomie, leur offrant des espaces de travail, des ressources et des expertises spécialisées en procédés d’impression numérique et analogique. L’imprimerie propose des résidences, des formations, des rencontres et des accompagnements adaptés aux besoins de sa communauté, qui stimulent la recherche et favorisent l’émergence et le transfert des savoir-faire. De plus, L’imprimerie privilégie des techniques et des produits respectueux de la santé et de l’environnement et valorise la collaboration avec d’autres organismes.
