Art Galleries / Museums (Public)

Description

The founding of the Musée des Sept-Îles in 1976 was an important milestone in the evolution of visual arts and the protection of north-coastal heritage. First established within the historic site of the Vieux-Poste, it moved to an ultra-modern building and was inaugurated on September 29, 1986. Its regional vocation was confirmed when it became the Regional Museum of the Côte-Nord at the beginning from the 1990s.
