L’Œil de Poisson is an artist-run center which focuses on research, creation, production and dissemination of contemporary art. It supports both established and emerging artists and curators and promotes their influence both in Quebec and internationally. In addition to its two exhibition spaces, L’Œil provides various services including work and residence spaces, specialized technicians and workshops to facilitate the production of their works. L’Œil de Poisson is one of the 10 cultural organizations of the Méduse complex. Located between Upper Town and Lower Town of Quebec, the galleries, offices and workshops of the organization are accessible by Côte d’Abraham as well as by rue Saint-Vallier Est. / L’Œil de Poisson est l’un des 10 organismes culturels du complexe Méduse. Situé entre la Haute-Ville et la Basse-Ville de Québec, les galeries, les bureaux ainsi que les ateliers de l’organisme sont accessibles par la Côte d’Abraham autant que par la rue Saint-Vallier Est. L’Œil de Poisson est un centre d’artistes autogéré qui axe sa mission sur la recherche, la création, la production et la diffusion en arts actuels. Il soutient aussi bien les artistes et commissaires établis qu’émergents et favorise leur rayonnement tant au Québec qu’à l’international. En plus de ses deux espaces d’exposition, L’Œil fournit divers services dont des espaces de travail et de résidence, des techniciens spécialisés et des ateliers pour faciliter la production de leurs œuvres.
