Galerie Bernard

Art Galleries (Commercial)

Description

Galerie Bernard initially opened in by Michel Bernard, presenting works by recognized artists such as Gilles Boisvert, Charles Daudelin, Fernand Toupin, Yves Trudeau, and Claude Vermette. In 2003, Galerie Bernard moved to its current location, where it presents rotating exhibitions on the 1st floor, and a more permanent showcase of the gallery’s roster of artists on the ground floor. There’s also a private lounge for collectors and others interested in purchasing works from the gallery. The gallery focuses on established and up-and-coming, emerging contemporary artists. Six (6) individual and/or group exhibitions are annually presented, in addition to a permanent display of works on consignment.

Commercial galleries are generally free to enter, while outdoor sculpture parks and sites typically offer year-round access, encouraging informal public engagement with art in open-air settings.
