Galerie.a is a Quebec City based contemporary art gallery founded in 2018. The gallery focuses on developing an international network of artists and collectors for contemporary art from Quebec. By participating in world-class art fairs, special projects, events, and exhibitions, the gallery is helping build an international community of artists and collectors of contemporary Quebec art. In its new home at 261 Rue Saint-Vallier Est, Galerie.a will be part of a tight-knit arts scene and gathering place for artists and collectors, with around ten exhibitions annually. For artists, collectors and lovers of contemporary art, Galerie.a is a vital new destination. / Fondée en avril 2018 par Anne D’Amours McDonald, Galerie.a est une galerie d’art basée à Québec et spécialisée en art actuel. Par la réalisation d’évènements, de projets spéciaux, de foires et d’expositions au Québec et à l’étranger, la galerie vise à développer un réseau international d’artistes et de collectionneurs pour l’art actuel québécois. Désormais installée en basse-ville de Québec au 261, rue Saint-Vallier Est, la galerie se veut un lieu d’exposition près de sa communauté artistique et un lieu de rencontres pour les artistes et collectionneurs. En accueillant une dizaine d’artistes invités chaque année, Galerie.a est une destination incontournable pour les enthousiastes de l’art actuel.
