Foyer Gallery

Artist-Run Centres / Galleries

Description

The Foyer Gallery is an artist-run exhibition space, operating under the auspices of the Foyer Gallery Artists’ Association and the City of Ottawa. Established in 1997, the Foyer Gallery increases the awareness, appreciation and promotion of visual arts in the community. It provides a valuable and rewarding experience for artists, art patrons, and the general public. The Foyer Gallery showcases original works of art created by a juried group of emerging and well-established visual artists from the region. Foyer Gallery artists, many of whom have received local, national and international recognition, specialize in a variety of media, from oil, watercolour, acrylic, graphite, pastel, coloured pencil, mixed media, fibre art and photography to sculptural works in wood, metal, clay, marble, glass, as well as other 3D assemblages.
