Dianna Witte Gallery

Art Galleries (Commercial)

Description

Dianna Witte Gallery was established in 2002, in Toronto’s Leslieville neighbourhood. Founded by director Dianna Witte and co-curator Ric Santon, the gallery maintains a mandate to showcase emerging and mid-career artists, with a focus on contemporary painting and photo-based art. Dianna Witte Gallery has exhibited at Art Toronto, the city’s international art fair, annually since 2010. We have facilitated the placement of artwork in corporate, private and public collections, including (but not limited to) the Archives of Canada, Colart Collection, TD Art Collection, RBC Collection, Sobey’s and the Glenbow Museum.

Visitor Access

In Canada, many small to mid-sized public art galleries, artist-run centres and museums offer free admission, with larger institutions often providing discounts or designated free-access times for youth, students, seniors, and others. Commercial galleries are generally free to enter, while outdoor sculpture parks and sites typically offer year-round access, encouraging informal public engagement with art in open-air settings.
