Centre Turbine

Artist-Run Centres / Galleries

Description

Turbine is a centre for education, creation, and the development of experimental spaces combining current practices in art and pedagogy. The Centre brings together and supports current artists and arts educators in the development and implementation of joint projects; links these projects to the specificities and needs of a community; identifies potential partners; and manages, promotes, and disseminates projects. The Centre also offers artists, educators and cultural workers professional development opportunities that allow them to expand their knowledge of current arts and pedagogy, and to adapt educational strategies to their projects. / Turbine est un centre de création pédagogique qui développe des espaces d’expérimentation jumelant pratiques actuelles en art et en pédagogie.
