Atoll | Art Actuel is a place for research, production and dissemination of contemporary art.n The Centre is dedicated to the promotion of artistic practices in visual, sound and interdisciplinary art. Its activities are oriented towards the exploration and promotion of the links between artistic practices, public spaces, and social engagement. Particular attention is paid to exhibition projects which deploy collaborative approaches, cultural mediation, and interactions that promote meetings between creators, researchers and the community. The center wishes to present projects capable of investing not only in its gallery spaces, but also in places not dedicated to art, both urban and rural. / Atoll | art actuel est un lieu de recherche, de production et de diffusion en art actuel, voué à la promotion des pratiques artistiques en art visuel, sonore et interdisciplinaire. Ses activités s’orientent vers l’exploration et la valorisation des liens entre les pratiques artistiques, les espaces publics et l’engagement social. Une attention particulière est portée aux projets d’exposition qui déploient des approches collaboratives, ayant un potentiel en médiation culturelle, qui proposent une réflexion sociale et qui favorisent les rencontres entre les créateur·trices, les chercheur·es et la communauté. Le centre souhaite présenter des projets capables d’investir non seulement ses espaces en galerie, mais aussi des lieux non dédiés à l’art, tant urbains que ruraux.
