A selection of curated Itineraries and Tours are also available. They include one-day, two-day, and week-long excursions—as well as walking tours, and road trips to popular and off-the-beaten-path locations. The itineraries include recommendations for local eateries, restaurants, hip cafés, boutique accommodations, hot spots, scenic stops, and rest stops.
CanadianArtMap.com uses Google Maps. Distinctive markers identify art destinations—museums, public and commercial galleries, artist-run centres, cultural centres, corporate art collections, sculpture gardens, art fairs, artists’ studios, and no fixed address art projects. Tapping a marker opens a pop-up window showing the venue’s name, address, description, contact details, website link, and Google Map directions.
Google Maps provides driving, walking, biking, and public transit directions between locations. The directions are based on real-time traffic conditions, offering multiple options and estimated travel times.
