The Guild: Hilda Woolnough Gallery

Art Galleries / Museums (Public)

Description

The Hilda Woolnough Gallery is a public space that celebrates the talents of artists from all disciplines and strives to promote active engagement of both artists and the general public in the appreciation of the creativity present on our beautiful Island. The gallery itself is an emerging aspect of The Guild facility which develops programming to engage artists in self-curated exhibitions. With the development of year-round programming, it brings both excitement and anticipation of future artistic expression & engagement. Programming of the Hilda Woolnough Gallery is conducted through a Programming Committee via calls for proposals at the end of the calendar year. Exhibitions may be solo presentations or collaborative, showcasing multiple artists, all to allow equal opportunity for those artists who may not have a large repertoire of works at their disposal.
