Musée Populaire de la Photographie

Art Galleries / Museums (Public)

Description

The Musée Populaire de la Photographie is divided into three sections: literary collections, cameras, and photographs. The Museum’s permanent exhibition documents the history of the cameras’ inventors, their processes and their techniques. The collection includes equipment from the first darkrooms and an important collection of cameras, antique cameras up to the most modern. The museum is for anyone with an interest in photography! Everyone is welcome. Throughout the year, the museum also presents exhibitions of work by contemporary photographers. The Musée Populaire de la Photographie sits at the intersection of art, history and science.
